Ever wonder if the protoforms in the status pods remember their pasts.

My answer to this is YES! Snowblaze and Prowl are two prime candidates for this. Most protoforms though lose their previous identity and take on the new one they live now in the BW as a Maximal or Predacon.

Snowblaze is still the Autobot femme Blaze, she just is now in a new body and life. Her original name Blaze shows up in her new name, showing she totally didn't fade away at all. Snowy remembers everything about her life as an Autobot. She remembers her friends, comrades, commanders and her daughter. Lynx is someone she can't forget, so she must tell Prowl about their daughter. For he too has the memories of his life as an Autobot. Snowblaze had to endure the memory of her mate's spark in space even more after becoming a Maximal, until he came back.

Prowl is still the Autobot that he once was, remembering every battle he fought with Optimus Prime, now fighting at Optimus Primal's side. His personality comes through all the way too, although he has grown a bit more relaxed and tougher than he once was. Even in space for centuries, he could never lose his identity, or his love for Blaze. He never knew about his daughter, who is still alive today. He wanted children but never planned them. Snowy will tell him about her soon. He remembers the acts he had with Skysiren and the Secret Police Forces.

In short both these two Autobots never died, heck they both still have the Autobot symbol on their bodies somewhere, never going away. The other Maximals probably don't see that in their ranks their ancestors are among them. Prowl one of the greatest Autobots ever is there. It is interesting to think though that once Prowl and Snowblaze meet up with their daughter they are trully her parents. They make look different then they once did, but their souls remain in their sparks forever. When Riverwing, Snowblaze and Prowl's son, comes Lynx will have a brother, who also has Autobot roots, seeing both his parents are Autobots. Interesting to think that their son will be both of the Autobot and Maximal symbols combined together. River will be different mind you. Keep an eye out for more on Riverwing in the future!

Snowy and Prowl are ultimate examples of how one never loses their hopes, memories and loves. For even though they were separated for mellenia their love endured from when they were Autobots to the time they became reunited as Maximals, their souls and identities never died. Blaze and Prowl got bonded a long time ago and they have always been bonded since. So in the BW they are bonded partners. They are and always will be Autobots and Maximals, it's just something that will never fade away from either one's lives.
