Slasher Red, Dinobot and Cheetor are scouting an area that had Predacon
signature
readings in. The three of us are eager to foul up Megatron's latest scheme. I yawn because it is getting late in the day. I start to mutter, "I should have stayed in bed, I am not fully recharged." Dinobot taps me on the shoulder. "Red, are you alright? You are not acting like your normal self. Maybe you should return to the Axalon to recharge some more." I glare at Dinobot for saying such a thing. "Dinobot, I came on this mission because you know how much I like to slag the Preds. Staying in the base bores me half to death. I am staying with you and Cheetor, end of discussion." I snarl then resume running. Rhinox detects another stasis pod landing. "Optimus Primal, there is another stasis pod landing, it is in the area you sent Dinobot, Slasher Red and Cheetor to scout." Optimus Primal is amazed lately at how many stasis pods are landing. "Slasher Red, Dinobot and Cheetor, there is a stasis pod landing in your designated range.", says Optimus Primal. "Slasher Red here, yes I see the pod it is going to land 2 kilometres away from our current location. We are on our way to retrieve the pod, Slasher Red out" I surprise Dinobot and Cheetor with my sudden burst of energy. They pursue me since they know where I am heading. Scorponok and Tarantulas beat our team to the pod. They quickly change the chip in the pod. Tarantulas laughs wickedly because the protoform is ready to attack the Maximals when they arrive. Tarantulas hits the control that sends a beam of light in search of a suitable form for the future Predacon. "Scanning complete, beast form chosen." Tarantulas grins and opens the stasis pod. The new Predacon soars into the air. Tarantulas and Scorponok leave the area and hide because they want to see what the new Predacon is like. The new Predacon is an Archaeopteryx. She has a rainbow coloured body and is rather attractive. Tarantulas frowns because the new Predacon is another flier. "Drats, I was hoping for another arachnid like us. Oh well, lets see what our new ally is like, tu, ha, ha, ha, ha." Our group makes it to the stasis pod. Cheetor looks into the pod and gives Dinobot and I a surprised look. "You are not going to believe this but the pod is a dud." "No it isn't Maximals, Pteryxia TERRORIZE!" Dinobot, Cheetor and I notice an Archaeopteryx warrior. I groan because the warrior is a female Predacon. The three of us shout, "MAXIMIZE!" We defend ourselves from the new Predacon. I notice darts being fired, I dive out of the way but one enters my leg. I scream in pain because the dart has some sort of poison. I fall down in real pain. Dinobot saw me fall. This enrages my mate, he fires optical blasts at Pteryxia. She dodges them and laughs evilly. "Is that the best you can do Dinobutt. Here have some darts." I am weak but I hear the Predacon threatening Dinobot. I manage to leap and knock Pteryxia down. "Pteryxia, listen to me you are a Maximal. The Predacons reprogrammed you. You are not one of them." Pteryxia throws me off of her. "Maximal prepare to die." She fires a few more darts into me. I scream because the pain us unbearable. I go into stasis lock. Pteryxia grabs her hidden sword and prepares to slay me. "Now you die foolish Maximal." Dinobot leaps onto Pteryxia and deactivates her with his hidden sword. He walks up to me and picks my limp body up. "Cheetor, we lost this battle. We have no choice but to retreat for now. Slasher Red requires treatment, if she does not get it soon her spark will perish." Dinobot and Cheetor retreat the area fast because they know that Predacons are coming to help Pteryxia. Dinobot carries my lifeless body. He starts to worry because I have been in stasis lock to long. He whispers softly into my audio sensor. "Red, please survive. I need you and I love you." Rhinox spots Dinobot carrying me. Rhinox can tell by my looks that I need a major treatment in the CR Chamber. Dinobot carries me to the CR Chamber and places me in it. Rhinox turns the CR Chamber on and sets it for ten cycles. Dinobot leaves the CR Chamber to be alone. He heads to his quarters to meditate. All he can think about is me at the moment. He sighs because I mean more to him than he thought. I am a Maximal that treats him with respect and that makes him feel good inside. Dinobot snarls at the thought of losing me. A sense of sadness enters his mind. He falls into a troubled sleep. Rhinox lets me out of the CR Chamber. He notices that I look as good as new. "Red, how are you feeling?" I look at Rhinox then yawn. "I feel sleepy." Rhinox asks me to go and recharge. I do not disobey Rhinox since I got harmed being sleepy. I head to Dinobots quarters since he and I share the same room. I climb into bed and go into recharge mode. Dinobot wakes up since he feels a warm body against his. He nuzzles me because I am still alive. I sigh in my sleep. Dinobot puts his arm around me and goes back into recharge mode himself. Tarantulas and Scorponok introduce Pteryxia to Megatron. Megatron admires Pteryxia because she is lovely looking. Pteryxia smiles at Megatron because she finds him beautiful to her optics. She bows to Megatron. "I will serve you loyally my lord." Megatron smiles at her. "I know you will yess." |
